Attending the ceremony were Major General Vu Hung Vuong, Hero of the People's Armed Forces, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Former Public Security Officers, and National Assembly representative from Vinh Long province; Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Trang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Colonel Pham Thanh Tung, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police; along with local government leaders and a large number of people from Cai Ngang commune.

The project was implemented thanks to the attention and coordination of the Vietnam People's Police Veterans Association and sponsors, with a total cost of nearly 2 billion VND. This partnership demonstrates a spirit of social responsibility, working together to care for the lives of the people and contributing to the construction of new rural areas in the locality.
The Kinh Ngay Bridge has long been a long-awaited aspiration of the people in Hamlet 7 and the Kinh Ngay islet area. Previously, people faced many difficulties in traveling, transporting goods, and accessing education, especially during the rainy season. Based on this practical need, the local government actively mobilized social resources to invest in the construction of the bridge.
According to the design, the Kinh Ngay Bridge will be built of reinforced concrete, with a length of 73 meters, a width of 3 meters, and an estimated construction time of about 3 months. Upon completion, the bridge will serve the transportation needs of over 300 households, facilitating safer transportation of agricultural products, schoolchildren, and workers. At the same time, the project will contribute to socio-economic development and fulfill the transportation criteria in the local new rural development program.

The project is expected to be completed in time for the 81st anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Police (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2026), becoming a practical project that demonstrates the spirit of solidarity and responsibility for the community, contributing to building a more prosperous and developed Cai Ngang homeland.
