On March 25, 2026, in Hanoi, the National Data Center organized a seminar on the “National Database Development Project”. The event was attended by senior leaders, experts, scientists, and representatives from ministries, agencies, localities, organizations, and enterprises. Major General Nguyen Ngoc Cuong, Director of the National Data Center, was present and chaired the seminar.

With the theme "80 Years of People's Security - A Glorious History," the 2026 People's Security Force Mass Art Festival officially opened on the evening of June 18, 2026, at the Vietnam-Japan Labor Culture Palace, Hong Gai Ward, Quang Ninh Province. This event celebrates the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Security Force (July 12, 1946 - July 12, 2026).

On June 16, 2026, the Ninh Binh Provincial Police Department, in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Binh province, the Department of Internal Affairs, and the Ninh Binh Provincial Branch of the Social Policy Bank, organized a conference to sign the cooperation program "Receiving and assisting former prisoners returning to their localities to continue their dreams and build their lives," the coordination regulations for implementing Decision No. 22/2023/QD-TTg and Decision No. 08/2026/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, and organized a job counseling and career orientation session for former prisoners and those granted amnesty in 2026.

At the invitation of Comrade Pang Tu Sop, Minister of Social Security of North Korea, a high-level delegation from the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, led by General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Political Bureau and Minister of Public Security, visited the Democratic People's Republic of Korea from June 13-16, 2026.

On the afternoon of June 16, 2026, in Hanoi, Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Deputy Minister of Public Security, chaired a working session with units, academies, and schools of the People's Public Security Force (CAND) regarding the 2026 CAND recruitment process. The working session was connected online to local police departments.
