The Center for Data Innovation and Exploitation, a public service unit under the National Data Center, is officially named the National Center on Data Innovation (NCDI)

Providing solutions, resources, and platforms (including facilities, infrastructure, systems, utilities, and related equipment) to implement information systems for agencies, organizations, and enterprises in accordance with regulations.
Researching, producing, designing, and applying digital technology solutions and platforms in accordance with regulations.

Investing in and operating data products and services; engaging in joint ventures and partnerships with organizations, enterprises, and individuals to provide data products and services in accordance with the law.
Carrying out tasks to ensure information security and safety, cybersecurity, data security, and the protection of state secrets in the Center’s operations, in accordance with the law and the regulations of the Minister of Public Security.
Organizing training, knowledge enhancement, and capacity building for staff.

The Center for Innovation and Data Exploitation is headed by the Director of the National Data Center (equivalent to Department Head), with no more than three Deputy Directors (equivalent to Deputy Department Head).
The Government issued Resolution No. 175/NQ-CP approving the National Data Center Project, assigning the Ministry of Public Security to establish the National Data Center for centralized data management and exploitation.
The Ministry of Public Security organized the inauguration ceremony to announce the establishment of the National Data Center in Hanoi.
The Innovation and Data Exploitation Center (NCDI), together with the Security and System Safety Department, was inaugurated, marking a new stage in the development of a secure data ecosystem.
The NCDI signed cooperation agreements with approximately 26–27 strategic technology partners (including MISA, MobiFone, etc.) to implement AI, Big Data, and Blockchain applications on the national data platform.
The National Innovation Center brings together key partners to build a vibrant startup and innovation ecosystem, driving collaboration among businesses, government agencies, and research institutions worldwide.
